Founder & Master Builder

Lou was bending nails before he could walk—born with a fascination for how things work and how to make them better. With five decades of experience and a sixth sense for structural detail, Lou is the go-to guy for any project, big or small. He’s the backbone of the build and the foundation of Cheramy Builders.

Peter Cheramy

Visionary

Peter grew up on job sites, where his love for the trade was forged in demo dust and framing nails. Over the years, he’s transformed Cheramy Builders into a customer-focused company, blending his dad’s hands-on expertise with modern design sensibility and an eye for detail that sees the project through to its finest finish.

Donna Cheramy

Operations Support

With four custom home moves under her belt and a front-row seat to every build, Donna knows what it takes to run a smooth project and a thriving family. She brings deep operations experience and a sharp eye for workflow.

Beth keeps everyone grounded (and grinning). Whether she’s biking Madison’s lake loop or keeping up with her grandkids, she brings energy, warmth, and flair to the Cheramy team. Her decades of family pride and love for the little things help make our work feel like home.

Lou’s son, Peter, spent his childhood on job sites, learning the rhythm of the trade one 2×4 at a time. With sawdust in his shoes and a vision in his head, Peter carried the company into its next chapter: pairing Lou’s hard-earned expertise with modern systems, thoughtful design, and a client-first process. Together, they bridge the old school and the new, combining craftsmanship with streamlined client experience.
And Donna, Peter’s wife, who has helped turn three custom homes into homes for their family following Peter’s dream, brings her operational edge and process expertise to keep every one running with clarity and care.
And at the heart of it all is Beth, our family matriarch with a crossword in hand and sneakers laced for a treck around the lake. She brings her signature flair, warm energy, and unshakable pride in the legacy of Cheramy Builders, and maybe a few fresh-baked cookies for the crew.
